We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our member services branch, ECA WA.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for member attraction and retention, building and maintaining relationships with members, hosts and key stakeholders, sponsors and promoting all business units of ETI Ltd. to the electrical and communications industry through the marketing department.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic direction to the Member Services' teams
* Contribute to the development of the ETI Strategic Plan
* Oversee the development and implementation of the ECA WA Services Business Unit Plan
* Identify opportunities and develop proposals for new business opportunities for ECA WA
* Formulate budgets and ensure adherence to proper financial management practices
* Manage the ECA WA services function across ETI Ltd
* Manage member recruitment and retention strategies
* Manage the media and public relations plan for ETI Ltd
* Manage the identification and execution of internal and external events to promote ETI Ltd and its business units
* Ensure the development of ECA WA services and a consistent level of customer service and quality
* Champion the development and maintenance of a customer service culture across ECA WA
* Oversee the management of a customer feedback system
* Advocate for ECA WA by managing submissions to government and industry
* Manage ECA WA public relations activities
* Promote ECA WA across all levels of the Electrical and Communications Industry
* Ensure ECA WA mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
* Build strong relationships with ECA WA members and other key stakeholders
* Manage relationships with sponsors to ensure participation and support of ECA WA events
* Oversee the management of the ECA WA's sponsorship program
* Oversee and monitor team members' performance and workload in the ECA WA marketing and member services team
* Initiate strong partnerships between all ECA WA services teams
* Provide constructive and timely performance feedback to employees
* Develop and identify personal growth opportunities for team members
* Coordinate development and management of the annual marketing plan for ETI Ltd
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills with a strong customer focus
* Well‐developed interpersonal skills
* Extensive written and verbal communication skills
* Strong leadership abilities
* Excellent conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to maintain professional and respectful relationships
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or Business Development or related field
* Experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Business Development Management
* Aptitude for strategic selling and account management
* Demonstrated ability to drive strategic marketing initiatives to gain attention and create sales success
* Proven managerial, leadership and stakeholder management skills
* P&L accountability for a team/division
* Demonstrated ability to articulate a brand in all communications
* The ability to work autonomously and take initiative in the resolution of issues
* In‐depth knowledge of the electrical contracting industry, electrical industry and communications industry
* Sales experience in an industrial/trade field or a membership organisation
* Experience in liaising with key government and industry bodies
* Experience in advocacy, lobbying and crisis communication
* Marketing experience and background
