Based at Melbourne's Head Office within the Inner suburbs of Melbourne, this national privately owned has been able to capitalise on their market to become a major player in the Industry. With sustained success, there is an exciting opportunity to join this company as the financial accountant during a period of growth.
Your new role
Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial process and reporting, management of payroll and card transactions, along with supporting the wider business. Other duties include:
* Financial reporting
* Month end closing activities, including reconciliations
* Responsibility for bank reconciliations and corporate credit card transactions
* Maintenance of fixed assets
* Support cashflow through reporting and forecasting
* Work with budget owners to explain financial results
* Projects including process improvement
What you'll need to succeed
* CA / CPA qualified (or actively studying)
* Full function financial accounting
* Knowledge of ERP systems and strong excel skills
* Enjoys working in a friendly, positive work culture
* Strong communication / interpersonal skills
* Able to approach the role with enthusiasm and positivity
A candidate available at short notice would be advantageous.
