The Role
This position offers a balanced structure:
* 3 days operational leadership – driving clinical governance, quality, and service delivery
* 2 days clinical practice – maintaining hands‐on patient care
You will play a key role in shaping clinical standards, mentoring practitioners, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care to a unique and deserving population.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and governance oversight
* Support and mentor GPs and multidisciplinary clinicians
* Drive best‐practice care models for DVA and Defence patients
* Contribute to strategic planning and service development
* Maintain a clinical caseload across the week
About You
* FRACGP (or equivalent) essential OR experience as an Occupational Health GP
* Current AHPRA registration
* Strong understanding of primary care and complex patient management
* Experience or interest in DVA, veterans' health, Defence health, or occupational health highly regarded
* Proven leadership capability or readiness to step into a leadership role
