About the Role
OROSI CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD is seeking a fulltime Interior Designer to join its team.
Key Responsibilities
Consult with clients to determine design requirements, budgets, timelines, and project
objectives
Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry-standard
software
Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, colours, and materials suitable for each
project
Coordinate with architects, engineers, builders, and contractors to ensure design intent
is delivered
Ensure designs comply with Australian building codes, standards, and WHS
requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and monitor progress against schedules and
budgets
Source suppliers, prepare cost estimates, and assist with procurement where required
Conduct site visits to oversee implementation and resolve design-related issues
Revise and refine designs based on client feedback and project constraints
Skills and Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as an Interior Designer or in a closely
related role
Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
Strong knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, materials, and finishes
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative
Suite, or similar
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation
Strong communication and client consultation skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
