Reliability Maintenance and Engineering Team Lead
Amazon is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Manager to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Horsley Park. The team lead will maintain focus on safety by training, developing and coaching their team. They will deliver a high level of equipment availability by ensuring all preventative maintenance is conducted and internal processes are followed.
The role involves leading, supporting and mentoring a team of up to 10 including Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians (fitters and electricians). The team lead will work with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise available and build solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead site operations in a safe, standard and efficient manner.
* Work with the team and wider network to implement technical solutions.
* Support senior management in implementing safety and statutory compliance programs.
* Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance.
* Organise and direct training programs for the team.
Requirements
* Demonstrated leadership experience in a dynamic environment.
* Experience delivering leadership to a team of +10 direct reports.
* Formal trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a degree in a technical discipline.
* Experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with statutory regulations and machine safety protocols.
* Experience using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems.
* Experience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes.
