John Fawkner Private Hospital is seeking an administration professional to join our theatre bookings team in a permanent part time role as a booking clerk. This role will report to the perioperative services manager and will likely be 3 days a week- 7.6 hours shifts. As a Theatre Bookings Clerk your responsibilities will include: · Handling enquiries with a friendly and professional manner · Managing clerical and administrative responsibilities such as theatre bookings and maintenance of theatre lists · Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and inputting into webPAS (web-based patient administration system) · Assist and support clinical staff with indirect patient care and administrative tasks Essential Criteria: · Authority to Work in Australia · Experience in a similar role in a Private hospital environment (Essential) · Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and webPAS · Good communication and customer service skills · Working with Children check · Commitment to service excellence · Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · High level attention to detail · Previous experience with health insurance (desirable) Why Healthscope?
