Ou client is currently seeking a Project Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery across a diverse portfolio.
About the Role:
Lead the Quality Audit Program within the enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO).
Facilitate project risk workshops and support risk reviews.
Provide expert advice on project risk and assurance to key stakeholders.
Coach and mentor project teams on risk management best practices.
Maintain project risk registers and common project controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and improve project assurance programs, including audits and health checks.
Support project managers with risk policies, tools, and templates.
Contribute to strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold organisational values.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
Essential:
Tertiary qualifications and experience in risk management and/or project management.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in risk and project management.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing circumstances.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
Experience with civil infrastructure programs.
Ability to undertake quantitative risk analysis.
Exposure to local government environments.
Special Requirements
Ability to work flexible hours and across multiple sites, including construction sites.
Current driver's licence.
