About the Role
Be part of a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation that prioritises community health and wellbeing. We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Management (HRM) Coordinator to lead the delivery of HR and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) functions across our growing multi-site health service.
As an HRM Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, policy development, and compliance. You will also lead WHS activities such as training coordination, committee participation, incident investigation, and audit support. Additionally, you will maintain and develop internal HR systems and provide advice on industrial relations, Fair Work, and workplace investigations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification (Certificate IV or Diploma level minimum) in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years experience in a HR or WHS coordination role is essential. You will also need to be values-driven, culturally sensitive, and passionate about contributing to better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be confident working independently without close supervision. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. You will also have a strong focus on continuous improvement and be able to refine processes and contribute meaningfully to a high-performing team.
Practical Requirements
You will need a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check), a current C Class Driver's Licence (QLD), and immunisation requirements. You will also require satisfactory Police Criminal History Check.
