Security Project Manager (2 roles) 12 month contract (until March 2027, likely to extend) NSW Government Sydney city office location - hybrid working $1500 super per day Role 1 – Security Project Manager (DevSecOps stream) Managing 3 projects, including: Secure software development environment DevSecOps uplift Secure by Design (architecture and reference models) Role 2 – Security Project Manager (Cloud Identity) Managing a cloud identity security project, including: Azure & AWS environments (application deployment) SailPoint Set up integration with ServiceNow Responsibilities Leading cyber security technical and risk subject matter experts and third-party service providers. Coordinating internal teams and vendors to deliver security outcomes. Facilitating workshops to research, understand and obtain knowledge on the challenges and issues involved with cyber security compliance, privacy and information security. Developing project implementation plans. Providing accurate reporting on cyber security project progress for a range of senior stakeholders. Monitoring cyber security projects within Altus, including monthly status reports and financial forecasting. Essential Requirements Proven experience in leading projects from concept, planning, implementation, including monitoring and evaluation. Knowledge of Cloud and DevSecOps security concepts. Experience collaborating with architects/engineers to translate functional reference designs into delivery roadmaps. Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, contracts and multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in risk management, compliance alignment and financial control. Prior experience in government or regulated environments.
