Plant Mechanic | Tamworth Workshop
WesTrac Tamworth is looking for experienced Plant or Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their skilled team based in their workshop.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will utilise your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, and repair a range of Caterpillar equipment. Focusing on safety, you will work alongside a skilled team of technicians to ensure our customers get the most from their machines and minimize machine downtime.

Roster and Remuneration
* Roster: Monday to Friday, 10.5-hour shifts
* Shift Times: 06:00 AM to 16:30 PM
* Potential annual earning from $110k + Super
* Rates are a guide only and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience.
Skills & Experience
* Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
* Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
* OEM Experience (highly desirable)
* Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
* Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
* Current driver's licence
