About Cerberus Health Centre
Cerberus Health Centre is located at HMAS Cerberus in Western Port, adjacent to Crib Point. The base supports approximately 4,000 personnel and is the Navy's primary training establishment for new recruits, training around 6,000 personnel annually with an average of 800 trainees on board at any one time. The Health Centre provides a range of services, including primary medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmacy care. It includes a 30‐bed low‐dependency ward operating 24/7 and is also responsible for delivering after‐hours healthcare services to ADF personnel across the Mornington Peninsula. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30–15:30 Monday to Friday.
Weekday & weekend on‐call shifts equally shared.
What You'll Do
* Deliver high‐quality primary care to Defence members.
* Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness‐for‐de‐ployment assessments and pre/post‐deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health.
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount.
What You Bring
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
* FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
* Minimum two years' GP experience in the last five years in a GP setting
* Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
* Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
* Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‐centred care
