About the Role
Join our Technical Support team as an Advanced Technical Support Engineer, specializing in Medium Voltage products and applications. The role involves providing phone-based installation, setup support, maintenance, and remote troubleshooting to enhance customer satisfaction. You will act as the incident and escalation point for critical customer issues, liaising with various stakeholders to expedite resolutions.
Responsibilities
* Understand customer issues and expectations for comprehensive troubleshooting.
* Contribute to reducing resolution times for customer issues.
* Enhance technical skills through practical experience.
* Develop expertise in Schneider Electric's product range and contribute to knowledge resources.
* Showcase customer success stories to highlight the value of technical support.
* Identify new opportunities during customer engagement.
* Maintain excellent technical service to bolster the company's reputation.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
* Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power/Automation/Mechatronic Engineering or relevant Trade Qualification.
* Understanding of Medium-voltage products (VCB, Transformers, RMU), MV protection, and applications.
* Knowledge of electrical schematics and standards (AS, IEC).
Preferred:
* Hands-on experience with Medium-voltage products.
* Experience in electrical engineering, fault finding, troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC 61850).
* Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint.
Additional:
* Experience with Protection relay software.
* Knowledge of internal MV switchgear components.
* Experience with customer support tools like Salesforce.
* Strong collaboration, communication, and customer-centric skills.
