About us:

Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol-related care to residents of Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Banana, Woorabinda, and Central Highlands areas, serving a catchment population of over 250,000. Services are located in each area.

Rockhampton, as the principal service centre, administers the Mental Health Act, 2016 and houses the acute adult inpatient facilities. Additionally, there is an Adult Step Up Step Down facility in Gladstone and a Community Care Unit in Rockhampton.


About the role:

The Perinatal Mental Health Coordinator will provide a specialist consultation-liaison service for perinatal mental health consumers within CQMHAODS. The role involves working in partnership with CQHHS staff and the primary health care sector to facilitate pathways to care for women at risk of perinatal mental health issues. Services will be provided across the Mental Health Service Group and other CQHHS groups.


About you:

You should be qualified in one of the following fields with relevant registration:

* Occupational Therapy
* Psychology
* Social Work
* Registered Nurse

The total remuneration package is up to $164,212, comprising:

* An hourly rate between $66.85 and $72.58
