As the organisation continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Asset Engineer to play a key role in managing critical infrastructure across both airports.
About Your New Role :
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will take ownership of AMG's infrastructure assets, including the embedded network, high-voltage systems, metering assets, and solar generation infrastructure. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of the assets, working closely with the Property, Aviation, Development, and WHS teams, as well as external contractors.
Leading the operation, maintenance, and upgrade of assets across both airports.
Managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets for embedded network infrastructure.
Overseeing maintenance contractors and ensuring all works meet AMG's safety and quality standards.
Monitoring asset condition and planning lifecycle replacement and renewal.
Preparing and reviewing asset documentation.
Managing compliance with the Australian Electricity Act, Airports Regulations, and WHS legislation.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, primarily based at the Bankstown Airport, with the occasional visit to Camden (approximately once per month). The role offers a balance of project delivery, technical problem-solving, and asset performance management.
About you :
Degree-qualified engineer in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Construction, or Asset Management.
3+ years' experience managing or delivering infrastructure or utilities projects, ideally with exposure to electrical or embedded networks.
Strong understanding of infrastructure asset management, including lifecycle planning, maintenance, and compliance.
Proven ability to manage contractors, stakeholders, and project delivery within complex operational environments.
Skilled in data analysis, documentation, and reporting, with proficiency in Excel and asset management systems.
Proactive and adaptable professional who thrives in dynamic, hands-on environments such as private asset management or project engineering.
