MLC School is seeking a passionate and skilled PDHPE Teacher who will teach stage 6, to join our vibrant learning community for a 12-month leave cover. About the Role
- Teach Years 7–10 PDHPE, HSC PDHPE, and IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS).
- Design and deliver inclusive, engaging programs aligned with the School’s Learning and Teaching Framework.
- Foster student wellbeing and academic growth through differentiated learning and collaborative practice.
- Actively contribute to the School's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Demonstrate a willingness to regularly update teaching and learning resources in alignment with current best practices and syllabus requirements.
- Write programs in preparation for the new 2027 syllabus.
- Contribute to the co-curricular life of the School and support the holistic development of every girl.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience teaching HSC PDHPE.
- Ability to teach Years 7–10 PDHPE.
- Strong understanding of PDHPE pedagogy and curriculum.
- Experience teaching Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS).
- Experience teaching IB SEHS is desirable but not essential.
