Take on a key administrative role where your accuracy, confidentiality, and communication skills directly support clinicians and enhance patient care. As a Outpatient Department Medical Typist, you will provide high-quality medical typing and administrative support within a busy Outpatient Department environment, ensuring timely, accurate documentation and smooth communication between patients, clinicians, and external specialists.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate and timely medical typing, electronic document entry, and records management.
* Manage hardcopy and electronic filing in accordance with confidentiality and information management standards.
* Respond professionally to telephone and in-person enquiries from patients, clinicians, and medical specialists.
* Support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager and consulting rooms team with general administrative and clerical duties.

* Highly accurate with strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
* Professional and confident communication with patients, clinicians, and external stakeholders.
* Organised, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
