Overview About the Job: Seven Consulting established a Change Management Practice in 2023 to complement our Program Delivery, PMO and Consulting services. We’re growing our Practice in Sydney, Melbourne and Manila. What You’ll Do As a Change Director, you will lead responsibilities across our Change Management Practice (internally) and with clients (externally). The role is a hands-on client-delivery position with flexibility based on billable work.
Change Management Practice responsibilities:
Business development: shape responses to proposals, EOIs and panel submissions; grow client accounts through Change Management; represent the firm at industry events; contribute thought leadership; engage with clients on next steps and insights.
Recruitment: support the recruitment process for the Change Management Practice to maintain high standards.
Quality assurance: perform QA reviews and track action plans.
Improvement: identify and deliver improvements to the Practice.
Client-facing responsibilities:
Work directly with program sponsors and clients to design, lead and deliver Change Management services on complex programs or portfolios. Typical responsibilities include:
Conduct a discovery process to analyse change drivers and identify enterprise-level themes.
Scope Change Management work and estimate resources and costs.
Understand and lead organisational change at the enterprise level.
Analyse a client’s business, operations and structure to identify potential impact from change and its management level.
Propose solutions to reduce or mitigate potential change impact.
Meet, influence and present to executive stakeholders, including preparing business documents and slides.
Provide advisory services, including reviews, analysis and recommendations of ePMO or Change Management functions.
Propose strategic tactics to manage organisational changes for desired outcomes.
Execute multi-year plans, report progress, raise risks and issues, maintain relationships, and contribute as a team member.
Evaluate and measure the success of change interventions across activity, proficiency, usage and adoption.
Apply Project Management principles as well as Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methods.
Provide support to change recipients and business leaders during and after projects.
Mentor and motivate junior Change Management practitioners.
Contribute thought leadership (articles, conferences, webinars) to the Practice and the field.
What You Bring At Change Director level, you bring leadership experience, deep knowledge of transformation programs, and end-to-end strategy, planning and delivery of organisational change.
12+ years of dedicated experience in Change Management
Experience building or leading a Change Management team, practice, centre of excellence or enterprise function
Experience designing and managing a single view of change
Experience managing Change Management practitioners who are more junior
Experience managing end-to-end change across multiple streams of large, complex, multi-million-dollar programs delivering process, people/culture and technology changes
Experience providing consulting services and leading proposals/bid preparation
Experience speaking at conferences (virtual or in person), on podcasts or in other forums on Change Management topics
A Bachelor's degree or higher (relevant fields listed in the role description)
A Project Management and/or Change Management qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presentation capability
