Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dispensing Optician to provide exceptional service to our patients and help them with their visual requirements.
* Taking precise measurements to ensure glasses are made up correctly in the optical laboratory
* Interpreting complex optical prescriptions
* Fitting, servicing, and adjusting optical appliances such as spectacle frames and lenses
* Consulting with patients and providing them with optimal solutions to their visual needs
* Delivering outstanding customer service and effective communication with our patients at all times during their appointments
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
* Full Australian working rights
* A minimum of 1 year experience in the optical or retail industry (highly preferred)
* Willingness to work across different clinics where needed
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping others
