Overview
The Company: An award-winning and highly established volume home building company, due to continued growth into 2026 are looking to hire an experienced AutoCAD production draftsperson to join their growing drafting team. Housing construction projects consist from a vast range of designs across single and double storey homes.
Company progressing to Revit within the next 6 months and have a full time BIM Manager who is conducting the internal implementation.
The business is willing to look at drafters from all software backgrounds of AutoCAD, Revit and ArchiCAD with full REVIT training provided when the Revit implementation has been finalised.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Drafting Manager
* Produce accurate working drawings for volume housing projects
* Ensure all work is completed within set time frames
* Ensuring conformance with necessary guidelines and Council requirements
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work within a highly supportive and collaborative team environment
Role Requirements
* MUST HAVE a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a drafter with a volume home building company.
* Intermediate to advanced-level drafting experience using AutoCAD
* REVIT skills would be highly advantageous
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
* Proven track record within the volume home building industry
* Strong team player
* Able to meet deadlines
