A Day in the Life
The Aortic and Peripheral Vascular Health is one of the fastest‐growing businesses within Medtronic. Peripheral and Endovenous therapies are a critical part of the Medtronic vascular portfolio, treating patients with a broad range of conditions, including Peripheral and Carotid Disease, Peripheral Embolization, and Superficial and Deep Venous Disease. We lead the way in the Superficial Venous and Drug Coated Balloon markets, caring for hundreds of millions of patients globally with lifesaving and life‐enhancing therapies.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth with this part of the Aortic and Peripheral Vascular Health portfolio in West and South Australia, and lead & coach the team of Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists based across the state. Responsibilities
* Develop and/or implement operating plans to support product and program launches and achieve desired sales results.
* Work closely with the field sales organization to increase the adoption of Medtronic's products by developing and executing strategic field activities involving customer education, training, and product messaging.
* Develop and drive product and service strategies that enhance operational excellence, quality, and economic value, resulting in market differentiation, revenue growth, and increased market share.
* Collaborate with other departments—senior leadership, Clinical Operations, Quality, Legal, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Project Management—to ensure sales targets are met and strategic initiatives are implemented in the region of responsibility.
Required Knowledge and Experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Proven people‐management or coaching experience, preferably with establishing and motivating a sales team
* Experience in Operating Theatre or Sales Management preferred
* Solid knowledge of business planning
* Expert understanding of internal workings of hospitals/theatres/departments, key influencers, and tender processes
* Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business priorities
