Phlebotomy Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Collecting samples with care and attention for different contracts, specifically for drug and alcohol testing.
* Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample.
* Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times.
* Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.
* Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers.
Skill Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills with a high level of empathy.
* Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinic setting.
* Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
* Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or valid visa with permission to work.
* Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement.

About the Role:
This Commercial Pathology Collector role involves collecting specimen samples from patients, including commercial drugs of abuse testing for multiple different contracts and on-call responsibilities associated with these.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Pathology Collector, ideally with a Cert III in Pathology Collection, with excellent customer service and communication skills, organised with strong time management and attention to detail, and able to work autonomously in a solo clinic setting.
