This is a key business-facing role partnering with directorates to support strategic decision-making, financial performance, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing guidance on financial performance, budget management, and forecasting Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reports including variance analysis, commentary, and trend insights Lead the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic planning processes Conduct financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking, and scenario planning Liaise with senior leadership to enhance financial acumen and enable data-driven decisions Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems and processes Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies Maintain key financial registers and ensure data integrity within finance systems Proactively identify risks and work within a governance framework to manage them Ideal Candidate Profile Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Business CPA or CA qualified Previous experience in a finance business partnering role (public sector experience is advantageous but not essential) Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers Skilled in financial modelling, reporting, and systems such as TechnologyOne, TM1, or Power BI Collaborative and proactive approach with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
