We are taking Expressions of Interest for Mill Operators in the Kyneton area. The role involves operating machinery to batch, mix and process dry animal feed, monitoring systems, completing general labour and cleaning tasks, filling micro-ingredient boxes, cleaning ingredient bins, and moving stock in line with procedures.
Candidates should be reliable, safety-focused and flexible to work a rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Operate milling machinery to process raw materials
* Monitor production systems to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistent output
* Identify, troubleshoot and report faults or production issues
* Maintain production and maintenance records as required
* Load, unload and move raw materials and finished product throughout the mill
* Follow safety, quality, and stock control procedures at all times
Requirements
* Experience preferred
* LF License favorable
* Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Responsible and reliable work ethic
* Experience in stock control and grading
* Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
