About the Role
Located in Wooroloo at the Acacia Prison, reporting to the Deputy General Manager you will lead and manage the Rehabilitation and Reintegration directorate of the facility. You will also be responsible for the implementation of procedures that will support all prisoners to achieve their treatment objectives. In addition you will be responsible for the effective deployment of staff resources across reducing re-offending services. You will establish and foster appropriate relationships with the Department of Justice - Corrective Services Statutory and Voluntary Bodies, the Media and Local Community including Community providers. You will ensure all rehabilitation and reintegration and educational programs are facilitated in a positive and engaging manner to help prisoners address their own behaviour and prepare them for reintegration back into their communities. You will ensure that a system is in place for the assessment of all prisoners. Ensure each site has a robust audit methodology to ensure an assessment is made of all prisoners that satisfies the requirement to allocate prisoners to appropriate interventions that address the causes of their imprisonment.
About You
You will possess strong senior leadership and management skills and demonstrate with a focus on improving operational performance through the ongoing development of systems and processes. You will work with all employees to foster a values driven culture which supports ideas and new initiatives to enhance our level of service deliver and cost efficiency. You will have the ability develop and agree strategies for the delivery of the KPI regime associated with the payment by results model(s) for Acacia.
