Duty Manager - Grow your Hospitality Career
The Moranbah Community Workers Club is a Vibrant, Community focused club located in Central Queensland. We have seventy staff who operate Bar Bistro Bottleshop Gaming and Sporting facilities across two venues, and pride ourselves on being a welcoming club for our members and their guest.
We are currently looking for an experienced supervisor or strong hospitality professional who believe they have the skills, mindset and work ethic to step into a leadership role with the right support.
The Opportunity
You will initially lead evening operations (Wed - Sun) with Monday and Tuesday as your regular days off.
You will be a self starter with hands on involvement in:
* Developing and mentoring Junior staff
* Learning Day to Day operations of running a successful club.
* Key part of our Management team with progression pathways available.
Requirements
Candidates must hold current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) RSG (Responsible Service of Gaming) certification before commencing employment.
Applicants must obtain RSA and RSG certifications before applying for this position.
RMLV Certification is preferred but not essential.
A minimum of 3+ years hospitality management experience is required for this Duty Manager position.
Candidates must demonstrate supervisory roles experience within their hospitality management background.
This Duty Manager position is available to Australian citizens only.
The Duty Manager will work rotating day, evening and weekend shifts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for staff supervision, gaming machine oversight, cash handling, and customer service.
