Key Responsibilities
* Assist engineers in the design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and components
* Carry out routine inspections, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment
* Prepare and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics in line with project specifications
* Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and testing equipment safely and efficiently
* Collect, record, and analyze data to support engineering evaluations and reporting
* Support installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical systems and signage structures
* Ensure all work complies with workplace health, safety, and quality standards
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure timely project delivery
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and equipment status
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a mechanical engineering or technician role
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic/testing equipment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
