Scaffolder / Rigger (SA, SI, RA, RI, RB)
Above Scaffolding (a division of Acrow) is seeking an experienced Scaffolder / Rigger to join our growing team in Sydney, NSW.
This is a full-time position responsible for the safe and efficient installation, modification and dismantling of scaffolding structures across various construction sites.
What you'll be doing
Safely erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with approved plans and industry standards
Inspect scaffolding and associated equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Use various power and hand tools to construct, modify and dismantle scaffolding
Identify and report any safety issues or defects to the project manager
Assist in the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines
What we're looking for
SA, SI, RA, RI, RB scaffolding and rigging licenses
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Scaffolder / Rigger in the construction industry
Clean police record
Excellent knowledge of scaffolding systems, rigging procedures and safety requirements
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans and drawings
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Commitment to working safely and following all relevant WHS regulations
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
