The Opportunity
We are working with a client in the Utilities space, assisting them to manage a large and complex portfolio of work and are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a SaaS implementation for a 6 month contract starting 1st May 2025. This is a hybrid position and will see you working in the office 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders
* Conduct interviews, workshops, and other methods to elicit comprehensive requirements
* Analyse, prioritise, and structure requirements to define clear project scope and deliverables
* Define and document functional and non-functional requirements to guide solution design
* Create user stories, use cases, process flows, and detailed specifications
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams
* Support solution evaluation and validate outcomes against business needs
* Develop process models and visual diagrams to support analysis and decision-making
* Identify potential risks and assist in developing appropriate mitigation strategies
* Manage requirement changes, ensuring traceability and stakeholder alignment
* Maintain complete and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle, supporting seamless handover and transition
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:
* 5 - 7 years experience as a Business Analyst with experience within the utilities sector
* Strong background in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams
* Prior SaaS implementation project experience
* Hands-on experience with business process modelling and driving process improvements
