We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a challenging role as Electrical Business Development Manager.
About the Role:
This position involves driving growth and expanding market presence in the high voltage sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop current customer portfolio within assigned product line to achieve sales targets.
* Develop and maintain account plans in conjunction with the General Manager.
* Build strong relationships and achieve sales outcomes to meet company objectives.
* Market the company's services and maintain relationships with clients, both new and existing.
* Visit clients locally and interstate regularly.
* Identify new tender opportunities in line with tendering and bid/no-bid processes.
* Assist the estimating team with tender preparation and submission.
* Collaborate closely with supply chain partners.
* Negotiate tenders and follow up on proposals.
* Support project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant local experience in sales and business development within the electrical industry.
* An Electrical trade qualification or tertiary engineering qualification.
* Proven success in sales.
* Knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and packaged solutions.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
* Operational management experience is advantageous.
* Ability to work under pressure and extended hours as needed.
* Effective communication at all levels.
* A self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
