We are seeking a caring and organised Funeral Director Arranger to join our dedicated team and help families through every step of the funeral planning process.
The Role
We're seeking a true allrounder who's ready to roll up their sleeves and tackle a wide variety of tasks. As part of our team, you'll be meeting families, arranging funerals, handling administration, and even pitching in with practical duties like washing cars. If you're someone who's adaptable, hands-on, and willing to support wherever you're needed, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with families to discuss and plan funeral arrangements
* Provide information on service options, legal requirements, and documentation
* Liaise with cemeteries/crematoriums, clergy/celebrants, florists, and other service providers
* Coordinate logistics for viewings, services, and transfers
* Maintain accurate records and prepare required paperwork
* Support families before, during, and after the funeral service
* Washing cars when required
About You
* Compassionate and professional with excellent interpersonal skills
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive situations
* Strong administrative and computer skills
* Previous experience in funeral services, event coordination, or a customer service role is highly regarded
* Current driver's licence required
