Since 1980, Palmerston has been a leader in AOD support across WA, helping people improve their wellbeing. We offer specialised services in alcohol and other drug treatment, mental health, and wellbeing, through counselling, group support, residential rehabilitation, and education—reaching communities across the Perth metro, Peel, make it West, and Great Southern regions.

📌 This role provides the opportunity to lead and shape high-quality clinical and therapeutic programs across the Farm TC and THASP houses, ensuring services are culturally secure, responsive, and aligned with best practice standards. You will work closely with staff, clients, community stakeholders, and partner organisation's to create positive outcomes for individuals and families within the community.

This role is classified at Level 7 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.

What We’re Looking For

You’re more than your qualifications—you’re someone who brings heart, empathy, professionalism and a strong commitment to supporting clients in improving their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

* Tertiary qualifications in social, behavioural or health sciences or a related discipline and evidence of ongoing relevant professional development

* Proven experience in delivering a service for those seeking support for alcohol and other drug issues inclusive of families and significant others

* Demonstrated and evidenced experience in the delivery of best practice treatment modalities and mediums in the management of AOD

* Highly developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to apply these skills in a management context

* Demonstrated and evidenced ability to lead a team

* Demonstrated ability in community engagement

* Demonstrated experience in developing stakeholder relationships

* Ability to work independently exercising judgement and initiative
