Role
As a TAFE Engineering Teacher (Fitting and Machining) you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Australia's manufacturing and engineering industries. You'll guide students through practical, real‐world training in the workshop, classroom, online, and in the workplace. The position reports directly to the relevant Business Manager and Educational Team Leader.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant industry qualifications: MEM30219 - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Machining) or equivalent
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that inform the training and assessment provided
- Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning, and assessment including competency‐based training and assessment
- Qualification in adult education (TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent) or willingness to obtain one
- Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview
Highly Desirable
- MEM40119 – Certificate IV in Engineering
- High level of digital literacy skills
- Previous training/teaching experience
