About the role

As an IT Contracts & Procurement Advisor, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities and contract governance across key IT vendor categories. You'll partner closely with stakeholders to deliver sourcing outcomes, manage vendor performance, and ensure compliance with ART's procurement frameworks.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing expert advice to stakeholders on procurement frameworks, policies, and best practices to support informed decision-making
* Developing and implementing procurement strategies, sourcing plans, and governance frameworks for IT vendors and contracts
* Leading and delivering sourcing activities, including preparation of tender documentation and management of evaluation processes
* Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract terms and performance measures
* Managing strategic vendor relationships and ensuring contract performance, compliance, and accuracy of documentation
* Identifying and managing contractual, commercial, and operational risks, including preparing briefing materials for stakeholders
* Monitoring vendor compliance obligations and supporting audit activities, including implementing corrective actions where required
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across IT procurement and contract management practices

About you

* Experience in IT procurement, contract management, or vendor governance within a complex organisation
* Strong ability to develop, review, and negotiate contracts, including interpreting commercial terms and performance metrics
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership or executive audiences
* Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
* Experience analysing information and preparing high quality reports or briefing materials to support recommendations and decision making
* A solid understanding of procurement frameworks, governance, and risk management practices
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly for reporting and documentation
* Experience working within financial services or other regulated environments is highly regarded
* A relevant tertiary qualification in business or procurement, or equivalent experience (CIPS accreditation desirable)
Desirable: Experience using procurement, financial or risk systems, and knowledge of ITIL practices.
