A leading urban planning consultancy is looking for an experienced and driven Associate Director to join their growing offices in Sydney metropolitan area. With a strong pipeline of transformational projects across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW, this is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a collaborative, future-focused environment.What you’ll be doing:Preparing and managing planning/development advices, planning proposals, masterplans, assessments, expert reports and other technical advices.Advising clients on statutory and strategic planning matters, particularly in New South Wales context.Managing junior staff, budgets, timelines, and client relationships.Contributing to business development and client growth initiatives, representing the firm in stakeholder meetings, court proceedings, industry functions and other external events.What we’re looking for:8+ years of planning experience (private and/or public sector).Strong knowledge of NSW planning legislation and assessment processes.Experience in both strategic planning and development advisory.Confidence in project management and strong business acumen.Degree qualified in Urban/Town/Regional Planning (or similar).Eligibility to work in Australia.This role would suit an Associate or Principal Planner looking to step up or a seasoned Associate Director looking for a fresh change of environment.If you're ready to step into a senior leadership role in a growing consultancy, we’d love to hear from you.
