Fire Safety Specialist

The role involves improving fire safety within the built environment by reporting and advising on the adequacy of fire protection measures in accordance with legislation, codes, standards and risk management principles.

This requires strong knowledge of fire engineering, building surveying or similar fields to identify potential fire hazards and implement effective solutions.

">

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies, property owners and managers, and other relevant parties.

">

A current car driver's license is desirable but not essential.

">

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as fire science, engineering or architecture is highly regarded.
