The Training Officer role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operations of the technical team.
This includes coordinating and monitoring compliance with all training requirements for Part 145 and Airworthiness Operations personnel.
This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing technical manuals, procedures, and controlled documents to facilitate effective day-to-day operations and ongoing maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Organising education and training activities across the technical operations team
* Conducting regular training needs analysis
* Ensuring service delivery complies with legislative and regulatory requirements
* Undertaking specialist projects and administration as required
* Revising and maintaining technical operation manuals and associated forms according to quality management processes
* Liaising with the Technical Operations management team in publishing operational information to staff
* Producing technical manual updates from various sources including engineering, regulatory, and manufacturers' data
The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in a Workplace Trainer and/or Technical Writer position, demonstrated experience in aviation or engineering environments, comprehensive knowledge of educational strategies, tools, and approaches including e-learning, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment, effective communication and coordination skills across technical, engineering, and operational teams, and high technical competency in data entry and quality control.
