Senior Associate or Special Counsel – Insurance Litigation
An award-winning national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its well-regarded insurance litigation practice in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality, complex matters within a supportive and commercially focused team.
The role will see you advising on a broad range of insurance litigation matters, including workers' compensation, public liability, motor vehicle accident claims and professional indemnity. You will have autonomy over your matters, direct client exposure and the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers, while being supported by a strong national platform.
The Role
- Manage a diverse and high-quality insurance litigation practice
- Act for leading insurers and self-insured clients
- Appear in court and alternative dispute resolution forums
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and support junior lawyers
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience in insurance litigation
- Strong technical, advocacy and client-management skills
- Commercially minded with a collaborative approach
- Ability to run matters autonomously and deliver outcomes
