About the organisation Our client is a well-established Victorian public sector organisation undertaking a significant uplift of its application landscape, integration capability and digital service delivery. The work is meaningful, visible, and backed by genuine executive sponsorship. About the role Sitting within the Digital & Technology Services function, you'll provide architectural oversight across a portfolio of projects spanning corporate systems, digital platforms, data and infrastructure. A key focus is ensuring every solution design considers integration with an in-flight TechnologyOne 'OneCouncil' SaaS ERP program so that the broader ecosystem stays consistent, scalable and secure. You'll present designs to the Architecture Review Board, set patterns for integration and data flows, and align solutions with NIST CSF, Essential 8 and ISO 27001. What you'll do Define solution architectures across ERP and non-ERP systems, including integration patterns, data flows and system interactions Produce high-level designs and architecture artefacts for ARB endorsement, or guide vendor architects through that process Translate business requirements into pragmatic, supportable technical solutions aligned to enterprise standards Provide options analysis, trade-off recommendations and risk advice to project and program leadership Partner with vendors, business analysts, security, data and infrastructure teams to ensure delivery stays true to approved designs What you'll bring Proven track record as a Solutions Architect delivering end-to-end solutions across complex, multi-system environments Strong integration design experience across enterprise systems, ideally including ERP platforms (TechnologyOne highly regarded) Confident designing for SaaS and cloud-based architectures, with a solid grasp of APIs, middleware and interoperability Comfortable presenting to architecture governance forums and translating technical detail for business stakeholders Prior experience in government or similarly complex, regulated environments is desirable The environment You'll work alongside a capable, collaborative DTS team that values clear thinking, sound governance and pragmatic outcomes.
