Darwin Motor Group is on the lookout for an experienced and driven Service Manager to take the reins of a busy, high-performing Service Department. About the Role
As Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of the Service Department. You'll drive performance, mentor and develop your team, and ensure customers receive outstanding service every time. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee daily service operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability
* Motivate, coach, and develop technicians and support staff to perform at their best
* Drive customer satisfaction through strong processes and a customer-first mindset
* Monitor productivity, KPIs, budgets, and overall departmental performance
* Work closely with other departments to maximise dealership outcomes
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
* Handle customer concerns professionally, turning challenges into positive outcomes
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in automotive service management
* Proven success managing a high-volume service department
* Strong leadership and people-development skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Confidence using dealership management and service software
* Solid technical knowledge and understanding of service operations
