Job Description
Epworth Geelong, located in Waurn Ponds, is seeking experienced Theatre Technicians to join our dynamic Perioperative Team. Opportunities are available in full‐time, part‐time, and casual positions.
Responsibilities
* Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
* Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
* Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and inter‐departmental transfers
* Having an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multi‐cultural environment
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Specialising in Operating Theatre Technician)
* Be flexible, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn
* Be able to understand medical terminology and fulfil the technical requirements of the role
* Have best practice in delivering patient‐centred care
* Have a well‐developed understanding of relevant safe work practices
Salary
The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $59,718 – $73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part‐time).

Conditions of Employment
It is a condition of employment with Epworth HealthCare, subject to reasonable exemptions, that you have had an annual Influenza vaccination where required under Epworth policy.
