About the role As a casual Assistant Services Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting Centre operations during busy periods, seasonal peaks, and staff leave. This casual position offers flexibility and variety, providing hands‑on support across programs and events to ensure safe, smooth and positive experiences for our clients. No two shifts look the same - A typical day could start with supporting event setup, directing traffic and parking, assisting clients on arrival or preparing resources for the day’s programs. Later in the shift, you might switch to administrative tasks such as responding to enquiries, providing information, completing data entry or processing payments.
You will also help maintain supplies, operate equipment safely, follow operational and safety procedures, and support the smooth delivery of programs and events. No matter the task, delivering great customer service and maintaining a safe, compliant environment will always be at the core of the role.
