Role
Home Care Worker – Part time & Casual opportunities available

Responsibilities
* Working with our team to provide essential support to clients in their homes, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship as described in care plans
* Assisting in the provision of individualised care to clients
* Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans, including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), domestic assistance, and social support
* Accompanying clients for community access, including grocery shopping, social activities, and appointments
* Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients
* Responding to emergency situations using first aid as required
* Maintaining accurate records of care to clients
* Reporting any incidents or hazards that impact clients
About you
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, to support them to facilitate independent living, health and happiness by enhancing their psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being. You will be pro-active and creative in your approach, considering our clients and their needs.
Qualifications and experience
* A Certificate III or higher in a related field (or willingness to obtain through our traineeship program)
* Minimum 1 year experience working in home care, community work or disability services
* Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Availability for shifts Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm
* First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
* A current Australian driver's license, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle and be willing to transport up to three clients at a time if required
* Greek speaking is preferred but not essential
