2IC Butcher Manager
We are on the hunt for an experienced 2IC to help lead our busy retail Butcher shop.
This role is perfect for someone who loves the trade, takes pride in quality, and is ready to step up into leadership while staying hands-on.
About the Role- As 2IC, you'll work closely with the Butcher DC Manager to:
* Support daily operations of the meat department
* Lead, train, and motivate the team in the Manager's absence
* Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and hygiene
* Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimising waste
* Deliver great customer service and expert product knowledge
* Ensure all food safety and WHS requirements are met
About You
Qualified butcher with solid industry experience
Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and display
Reliable, organised, and able to lead by example
Passionate about quality, teamwork, and customer service
Forklift license preferable, however we will pay for your fork license if necessary/

Qualified Butchers – Full Time
We're looking for a qualified, experienced butchers to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cutting, trimming, ability to break pigs and lambs
* Preparing meat to a high standard
* Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
* Assisting customers with product selection and advice
* Stock rotation, display, and portion control
* Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
* Recognised butcher qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience in a retail or wholesale butchery environment
* Strong knowledge of meat cuts and preparation
* Excellent attention to detail and hygiene standards
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player
