Junior Surgical Trainee - Critical Care Unit
This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring surgeons to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. The position involves a 12-month rotation, allowing individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in General Surgery and Intensive Care.
* Care of patients on the wards, including daily rounds.
* Participate in specialist and registrar ward rounds, documenting decisions made during medical history.
* Respond promptly to calls from the patient care team.
* Efficiently facilitate consultations as requested.
* Maintain effective communication with patients' families or carers.
* Accurately record medications and treatments.
* Verify signatures on result sheets for investigations.
* Perform procedures as required.
