About The Role

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead the My Step Mental Health program in providing clinical services for consumers experiencing mental health and other issues. The program provides services across the Eastern Murrumbidgee region, navigating local health networks, and providing support to the consumer and their families and carers.

The role of the Service Manager is to provide leadership to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring efficient, effective, safe and high-quality management and clinical service delivery.

This position is based in Wagga Wagga or Young, and is available part-time (2 days per week), fixed term to 30 June 2026.

Duties

* Lead and support the My Step team, providing a clear sense of purpose and direction
* Support the delivery of person centred, recovery focussed, evidence-based and innovative clinical and psychosocial services
* Act as a key point of escalation for clinical leadership and oversight

Skills & Experience

* Qualifications as an allied mental health professional (e.g. psychologist, mental health social worker, mental health nurse, mental health occupational therapist, or Aboriginal mental health worker)
* Current registration with relevant credentialling body (AHPRA, AASW)
* Previous experience in a program management role and/or health services management.
* Demonstrated leadership experience of coordination multidisciplinary teams, including planning for and delivering on team objectives and deliverables, monitoring and developing team and individual performance.
* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and developing team and individual performance.
