About The Role
REMA TIP TOP has entered a significant and exciting growth phase and are looking to add experienced Belt Splicers with Australian working rights to join our supportive and team in Kwinana, WA.
Experience
* Fabric splicing on mobile and fixed plant.
* Surface preparation of different lining/coating systems – soft rubber lining systems, hard rubber lining systems, composite systems, polyurea and polyurethane systems.
* Surface preparation of different lining / coating surfaces – steel & concrete surfaces.
* Application of relevant primer & adhesive systems.
* Application of different lining / coating systems in accordance to manufacturer and/or client standard.
* Reading of technical drawings.
* Reading and adherence to job card & QC guidelines.
* Lay out & cutting of different lining systems.
* Operating relevant hand / power tools within safety specifications.
Essential
* Australian working rights.
* Confined Spaces ticket.
* Working at Heights ticket.
* Basic Rigging
* White Card.
* MR/HR
* Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and Lab DAS.
