GCS specialise in protective coatings, fabrication & Industrial Services for the resources, industrial and defence sectors.
We are a young company who are recruiting for a Project Manager and Business Development dual role, to build and expand our capabilities in the fabrication and mechanical field.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who wishes to build this division with us, a large element of BD will be required in order for us to succeed.
Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding projects from conception to completion.
Global Coating Systems and all business entities are ISO ****, ***** and ***** certified.
JOB OVERVIEW
Day to day expectations of this role include but are not limited to:
Actively promote GCS and GCS Fabrication Operations.
Actively source, scope and quote workshop and site work in the Perth metro area and regional mining areas.
Manage workshop and site operations and team members to achieve project completion at forecasted completion schedule and profit margins or better.
As this is a relatively new company it is understood that there is a large element of business development required to seek opportunities to secure future projects.

ABOUT YOU
Tertiary Qualification related to Project or Construction Management highly regarded.
Experience building and servicing a client portfolio of $5million or more per annum across multiple sectors.
Trade Certificate in associated trade highly regarded but not essential.
Proven Project Management experience across the entire project development & delivery cycle.
Experience working in a structured and procedural environment with a sound understanding of ISO compliance and HSEQ legislation and compliance.
Proficiency in using Fieldinsight or similar system preferred.
