Job Title: Service Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across all locations, collaborating with our management team to achieve business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain product knowledge to effectively describe information to guests, ensuring they receive accurate and helpful advice.
* Ensure the front counter area is welcoming, clean, and well-signed, reflecting positively on our brand.
* Supervise staff to provide quality interactions and service to patrons, promoting a positive work environment.
* Welcome and greet guests, assisting with enquiries and providing support as needed.
* Process point-of-sale transactions, including register operation and receiving payments, maintaining accurate records and adhering to procedures.
* Organize and adhere to procedures for opening and closing our location, ensuring timely task completion and minimizing disruptions.
* Complete procedure checklists to ensure timely task completion and maintain accuracy.
* Collaborate with our HR department to ensure staff training is completed, up-to-date, and relevant to their roles.
* Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to management, contributing to staff development and growth.
* Ensure staff appearance meets our standards and policy, promoting a professional image.
* Supervise staff, delegate tasks, and manage performance, leading by example and fostering a positive team culture.
* Coordinate with department managers to monitor stock levels and rotation, maintaining efficient inventory management.
* Follow food safety procedures and training, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team, with experience in supervising and managing staff.
* Current RSA certificate, demonstrating commitment to responsible service practices.
