Director - Fraud, Corruption and Detections
This role has responsibility for the department's Fraud and Corruption Control and Detections frameworks, policy and strategy, including its integration into strategic planning, corporate governance, and operational systems. The position requires active collaboration across the department to implement strategies that prevent, detect, and respond to fraud and corruption.
Who we are
The People Division, led by the Chief People Officer (CPO), provides human resources (HR) functions for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the department), focusing on its most valued asset : its staff. Alongside contemporary HR functions, projects, and strategies, the division is responsible for :
* Professional and Ethical Standards Branch (PES), which advises on ethical conduct and accountability under the APS Code of Conduct, APS Values, and the Secretary's Charter of Leadership Behaviours.
* PES promotes a pro-integrity culture through capability development, advice, and support related to conflict of interest, fraud, corruption, and behavioral expectations.
* PES sets the integrity policy framework and works to prevent, detect, and respond to internal fraud, corruption, and misconduct, collaborating with internal stakeholders to foster positive workplace values and behaviors.
