We are now seeking skilled Commercial Plumbers and Plumber's Labourers to join our team as we deliver major projects throughout NSW, ACT and QLD.
About the Roles
Commercial Plumber
o Hourly rate: $40–$50 (depending on experience)
o Minimum 3–5 years' proven experience in commercial plumbing
o Trade qualifications and valid plumbing licences required
Plumber's Labourer
o Hourly rate: $35–$45 (depending on experience)
o Demonstrated experience on medium to large construction sites
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in plumbing or construction industry is required.
Swimplex is a National Company with its offices in Coffs Harbour and Sydney. These roles offer flexible location options, with current projects in Cairns, South West Queensland, Canberra and Sydney
Key Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, and repair of large-scale commercial plumbing systems
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Collaborating with project and site teams to meet deadlines
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
Problem-solving and troubleshooting as issues arise
Requirements
Proven experience as a commercial plumber (for tradesman roles)
Valid plumbing trade qualifications and licences
Willingness to travel and work across different locations (FIFO/DIDO/relocation options
available)
Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Availability for extensive travel with expected commitment of 75% or more due to project locations across multiple states
